The artist and his creative growth process

Context

Graffiti artist Does released his second book, titled ‘First 20 Years’. It’s a book full of sketches in different stages of his career. His creative growth process was a thankful subject for a short documentary to promote the book.

Our take

Does works in a systematic way, and has a kind of rhythm while sketching. We tapped into the rhythm to guide the viewer through his thought process. The film invites the viewer on his creative journey and dedication to style.

Campaign concept, Film, Animation, Creative direction.

For the book promotion we created a couple of teasers. The first teaser shows Does’ first 20 years in one shot. We see elements that were a big inspiration for him back in the days.
